Brilliant. Unlike other reviews, the perfume stays on the skin for 6-8 hours.

Although I do not know what the original Issey Miake perfume smells like, this one smells incredible! I love how refreshing the opening notes are. The Citrus is not over-powering, and balances quite well for a work day wear.

The opening yuzu blast is beautiful and completely accurate. My only minor complaint is that after the first hour and a half, the heavy projection drops off significantly and it becomes a close skin scent. It lasts around 4-5 hours total, but you’ll need to overspray if you want a massive scent cloud.

It gets the classic Issey Miyake DNA down to about a Nearly 90% accuracy mark. The blend is done very well, but the heavy vetiver and tobacco notes in the base give it a very mature, traditional 90s feel. It’s class-apart, but if you are under 22 and like sweet bubblegum scents, you might find this too old-school.

The projection on this is solid, and that bright yellow-citrus opening is amazing. However, as it sits on my skin, the middle notes of nutmeg, saffron, and cinnamon become very prominent. I was expecting a purely watery, clean scent, so the herbal spiciness caught me a bit off guard. It's high quality, just more complex than I expected.
